Tucked away in western Wisconsin is a small town called Amery. It is there that Donna Halverson along with her husband, Paul, have rasied their four children (3 girls, 1 boy). Amery is also where Donna has taught numerous students as a primary school teacher (mostly 5th grade) for over twenty years. Her dedication to the education of young minds, her gentleness of spirit, and her love for others is what we desire and hope will be reflected in the Donna Halverson ESP "FOR KIDS" scholarship fund. Though, the scholarship carries the name of a special teacher, there is another specail woman whose financail contribution to the scholarship fund ought to be recognized.

Amy Russell, a wife, a mother of ten (8 boys, 2 girls), and a heart much bigger than her "petite" frame made a contribution to the scholarship fund. She is a strong advocate of education and giving with a willing heart.
Due to the generous contributions of Donna and Amy, 6 children will be able to attend the ESP "FOR KIDS" 2007 summer program.

As founder of WHI and the ESP "FOR KIDS" project I owe much gratitude for the love that these two women have shown to me when I was in University (and for Amy, when I was also in highschool). It is that love that was demonstrated to me through their encouraging words, their stern rebuke in love, their financial assistance, and most importantly their prayers that has motivated me to help others.
I have nothing with which to repay that love, but only to show to others the love they showed to me.
