Willing Hearts International is a non-profit Christian organization whose focus is on the Word of God when creating projects, supporting projects and seeking assistance (volunteerism, material, financial) for projects. Our desire is that through these projects a sense of self-worth is built, responsibility forged, partnerships encouraged, and respect established within individuals and communities. We seek to help meet needs where needs are apparent as Scripture instructs us to do in Deuteronomy 15:11: “For the poor will never cease to be in the land, therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.” This convicting statement places a responsibility and a command upon the shoulders of those who love the Lord. With these words of servitude, we go forward with the desire to make a difference in a child’s life, in a person’s spirit, in a community’s identity, and in a country’s future.

This, of course, is no small endeavor, in light of increasing mistrust, the lack of hope, and the attitude of indifference that continues to grow like a cancer to the Four Corners of the earth. However, in these very obvious realities, we (WHI) wish to bring God’s hope. With Christ as our premise, we believe in the possibility of change and move forward with the undying hope that we can make a difference for someone, somewhere, somehow. We do this by following the two great commandments in the Law: “You shall love God with all your heart and neighbor as yourself” (Matt. 22:39).

Willing Hearts International yearns to help serve the humanitarian needs of this world. We are here to serve with and work along side people, communities, and organizations with a common humanitarian goal. We will do that with joy, with respect, with understanding, and with God’s love. In all the work that we set out to do and in all that we wish to accomplish, our desire is to reflect the words of Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” We are not a church nor are we preachers but we, Willing Hearts International, build our vision on the foundation of the Word of God. “Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105).”
